Synopsis:

Sayid, Jin, and Sun set a trap for The Others after they suspect that Jack, Sawyer, and Kate have been captured.  The Others put Kate and Sawyer to work. Via flashbacks Sun’s father learns of her affair and orders Jin to kill the man.

- Anyone whose story shows some sign of redemption or closure via flashbacks is not long for the Lost world. Except Libby. She may have been the first Lost character to die without any real backstory being told or resolved.

Synopsis:

Ana Lucia, Sayid, and Charlie find Henry Gale’s crashed balloon and try to figure out if he’s telling the truth about who he is.  The hatch begins to take on a life of its own as Locke babysits Henry Gale.  Via flashbacks we learn that Locke’s father faked his death in order to hide from men he swindled out of $700K. He comes to Locke for help causing Locke to lose his fiance.
