Are you aware you are bookmarked in my BlackBerry? The site converts really well! Oh and Noah wanted a facebook page. I told him he had to get a job first. Those were the rules. He didn't buy it. But I have postponed it at least for now.

She only looks if she happens to be on my laptop and it happens to be up. And then she just read two or three of the Mommy Monday ones about her. Now that she has her own computer, she's all about Facebook to talk to her school friends, playing the Sims 3, and Facebook apps.

YouTube has been an issue with the 11 year old. He is at that age when he looks to see where the line is.

I had to nip YouTube in the bud. Quickly. Now, if she wants to see videos, I search and approve them.

Funny that you mention this, because recently my sister purchased a netbook for my 10-year-old nephew(which I extremely disapproved of). Soon after, he asked her if could have a Facebook account because all of his friends do as well. I'm so bewildered by this because I remember being 10 years old and even though I played video games very often, I would never ask my parents to buy me a laptop or have an account on a social networking site. It's all so weird because I am only 19 and I feel like the youth in America today has morals, values, and beliefs that are extremely different from my generation even though we're only a decade away.

I think the fact that you monitor your daughter's every move on her computer is very smart and almost vital in a world we live in today. I'm a bit worried about my nephew though because his parents are not as strict and protective over his computer usage. He often browses sites like YouTube for videos of cartoons and video games, but I am very worried because God knows how many inappropriate comments people make on videos. He is way too young to have to be exposed to the massive amounts of stupidity, racism, and homophobia that decorates the comment section of videos.
