And the coverage is annoying the shit out of me too. Numbers keep changing. Where he was being deployed to has changed. They couldn't even confirm his age for a while. And all day yesterday I kept hearing, "it is not known if he was born Muslim or converted and changed his name," as if that was NEWS. Who gives a fuck?! I feel like his military turned on him first, not responding to or acknowledging his needs and complaints. The man heard soldiers speak about the unspeakable as a psychiatrist every day. He probably had very good reason to not want to go, aside from religious and this-war-is-nonsense beliefs. What he did is horrific and inexcusable, but it may just be a testament to a bigger problem that nobody wants to address. I'm just as disgusted by his actions as anyone else, but not because he's Muslim or his parents are from Pakistan. I’m not a minority and I get it. I just looked at her and said " Did you bump your head today, or are you always retarded" Tru just said Good Job Mommy that old lady is NUTS! Usually the "journalists" don't know all the facts because it just happened. If they can't tell me the who.what.when.where.why?and how, then DO NOT interrupt my Young and the Restless or Judge Judy to let me know you know nothing. I would rather wait for the evening news. I found myself forwarding through the TODAY Show this morning because EVERY story in the 1st hour was a different angle of the Fort Hood shooting. Reactions fom the community, blah blah blah. I know how they reacted! They are sad, pissed, scared and devastated. There you go! I just laid it out in a fraction of the time.
