The top six couples each perform two dances.
First up? Melissa and Ade make me dizzy with a disco routine. Lots of good stuff in it. Melissa’s body is amazing. Also, nice recovery when she falls on her booty at the end.
Kupono and Kayla take on a Mia Michaels’ piece about addiction. I thought it was beautiful though I’m STILL not getting the Kayla fascination.
Jason and Caitlin do… a foxtrot? Couldn’t find video for it. It was kinda boring.
Phillip and Jeanine do a Russian Folk Dance that looked like a really bad Epcot performance:
Randi and Evan do a Tabitha & Napoleon hip hop routine to Beyonce’s Halo.
Brandon and Janette rbing the house down with an absolutely perfect Argentine Tango… I love the tango. They were awesome. I prefer the Bond version of Libertango, but this one will do too.
Melissa and Ade do their final dance together (the couples are broken up next week) and it’s a traditional waltz.
For Kupono and Kayla’s second piece, Nigel felt it lacked emotion…
Jason and Caitlin’s final number is a contemporary piece that left me underwhelmed.
Phillip and Jeanine do a jive… Phillip needs to go home.
Randi and Evan tackle a samba… they were kinda hard on Evan. But I’m pulling for them. I really am.
Brandon and Jeanette perform a jazz routine by Wade Robson… they were the couple of the night.
So, who’s going home? I think Phillip and maybe… Caitlin?

Brandon and Jeanette's tango was the BEST ROUTINE of the SEASON so far and probably THE BEST TANGO on SYTYCD EVER!!!!

LikeYou hit the nail on the head this time, Nina. I liked Phillip in his own style but he really did lack in the other styles. RIght now my favorite couple is Melissa and Ade. They seem to have a lot of chemistry and it will be interesting to see how they do with different partners. I also really like Jeanette and Brandon. I'm glad Mia fianlly jumped on the Brandon Bandwagon. I also don't get what is so special about Kayla...so, she's pretty and blonde. So what?

LikeBottom three at this stage is kind of a toss up - Jason and Caitlin and Phillip and Jeanine most likely - but the third group could be either Kayla and Kapuno or Randi and Evan. I'm still surprised that Caitlin and Jason escaped the bottom three last week. I really want to like Caitlin, but other than the first week, she just has been blah for me and every time she dances for her life she reverts back to gymnastics - she just can't compete with the other girls in my opinion. Phillip hasn't proven he can do any style outside of his own, really, but if they have the choice betweeen Jason and Phillip, my guess is Jason will go since they have "enough" contemporary dancers - that was their decision basis once before.
I actually cried at one point in the "addiction" routine. Mia really is fantastic (even if she is a bitch).

LikeBrandon and Jeanette were my favvvvv last night. Loved that last routine...of course, it was a Wade Robson routine....always spectacular!

LikeI agree with you that Phillip needs to go home but I think (for reasons that escape even me) that he has a lot of fans so I would be suprised if he's in the bottom 3. Brandon and Janette's Tango was perfection and I also adore Randi and Evan so if I had to pick who goes home it would be Melissa and Abe.
