Another best scene that should have happened that didn’t? Colonel Tigh’s and Adama’s goodbye on “New Earth” in the series finale. The last scene with them together was in the CIC back when shit was falling apart. BUT I will settle for the straight up eye contact between the two right before they jump in front of the cylon colony. I’d like to think THAT was their goodbye.

I loved all of your scenes as well. Especially Boomer shooting Adama.

And you’re so right. Tigh is the best “frak”er. My favorite?

Tyrol: I thought we were going to go with majority rule.

Tigh: Well, frak, apparently we invented majority rule, but I don’t remember it so frak that!

Best scene that didn’t happen that should have? A speech by Adama in the last episode telling everyone their journey has ended and they are finally at “home”.

A few of my favorite scenes not listed:
-When the Sharon model shoots Adama. So didnt see that coming!
-Gaeta and Gaius chat before Gaeta gets his due.
-The return of Ellen Tigh (both times.. but specifically the first time. They filled her return with both tension and comedy, which was awesome)
-Starbuck finding her own body.
-Gaeta as Admiral, Adama as badass prisoner.
-Oh… and favorite “frak”er: Tigh. He says it with such gusto. “Frakkin machine!”

I forgot about that scene! That reminds me of another scene I liked, kind of similar, where Baltar shoots and kills Crashdown when he threatens to kill Cally for not following his orders (I think it was Cally).

It was soo hard to pick just ten. I really wanted to find clips of Lee’s speech at Baltar’s trial, Roslin’s swearing in, and Adama’s speech at the end of the mini-series.

You know which scene I REALLY love? When Cally, Seelix, Gaius, and Tyrol are pinned down by the Cylons on the algae planet.. Tyrol just stands up all kamikaze style and starts shooting at the centurions. Gaius looks at him with awe. They blow up. Tyrol looks at his gun like, “Damn!” Turns out it was Lee in a raptor. He makes eye contact with Tyrol and just says, “You’re welcome.” Gaius has tears in his eyes. LOVE that scene!

See I can know the ending of something and STILL enjoy it when I see it, my boss told me the ending of Departed and I still watched the end of that movie with my jaw on the floor.

Even though i know who the final 4 are I’m going to enjoy watching how they are exposed and what happens afterward.

I love that you got me hooked on this show
