Personally I think that this is all set up for the new Caprica series. Also Why not evacuate the battlestar & have it fall apart. It's a great way to end the series. Aren't we all emotionally charged about seeing the ship go to shit?

My big question is, will see our favorite characters in the Caprica show? Also why did Starbuck come back from the dead?

EXACTLY. We just started the series over again. Watched the mini-series on Saturday. We're yelling at the TV "liar!" and "you know you want her!" other shit because we have the knowledge now. I love the mini-series! I'm gonna send you my digits. :-)

Mary, you should! I was trying to explain it to my brother two weeks ago. I'm convinced that if you can just get someone to watch the miniseries, they'll be hooked. Seeing Boomer walk out at the end? Puhlease, how could you NOT want to watch the show to see what happens after that?!

i wish you could have been at my sister's this weekend as I was trying to explain the new series to my dad. He watched the old one. So, I'm giving him background information, my sister's rolling her eyes HARD at me, and my dork brother is trying to convince me that Twiki was a character on the old BSG. I sounded like the expert. Albeit a nerdy one, but nonetheless an expert. I sooo needed you there. Next time I'm gonna call you to explain it.

Yeah, you're getting the two "kinds" of Cylons mixed up. The ones created on Kobol moved to, and evolved on (being able to reproduce like humans) Earth. The only remaining Cylons of that kind are the Five.

But the ones that the 12 tribes made were all Centurions and they lived in the 12 colonies after leaving Kobol. Those Centurions became self aware and turned on the humans until the Five showed up and got them to agree to the armistice. They went off somewhere (now we know they went w/ The Five) and learned how to make skin jobs and resurrection (now we know that the Five taught it to them) and THAT'S the colony they're referring to. In the past, it was referred to as a planet, but R. Moore said they purposely never showed it cause they thought it would do better to have viewers imagine it. And, I suspect, it made it so that they weren't forced to write themselves into a hole as they would have done now. No way John could move a planet.

Oh. I thought Earth was their home planet. I guess they had to relocate it for those 40 years they were missing. My timeline is still screwy. I need to pull it out any time I watch or discuss BSG!
